6th Grade Fables

Here are some fables written by Room 21.
Feel free to comment on them.

The Puppy and the Bunny

Prank Puppy and Brany Bunny were best friends. They mostly hung out, and played together at the Blue Blury Branch park . However one shiny beautiful day, Brany Bunny said to Prank Puppy, “I want to go look for a caring owner for me, so he or she can take good care of me. Anyways, winters on the way I don’t want to freeze to death outside.”
“There’s a lot of time left, let’s go dance,” said Prano. “No,” yelled Brany and took off. Then Prano went to the movies relaxing, and having a fun time. Two months later (when it was winter) a chunk of a freezing snow ball fell on Prank. She ran to Brany’s place, and cried outside, banging on the door, “Let me in Brany, I’m dieing here, you were right please let me in.” SO, she let her in, and told him, “Don’t wait fot the last minute to do something.”

Moral: Don’t be lazy do what ypu have to do.

The Cat and the Tiger

Cate Cat and Tia Tiger were best cousins. They played and slept together. However, hunters came to their habitat to capture wild animals. The hunter found Cate and Tia. While Cate was working on the fence. The hunter captured Cate, so she screamed, “Help me, help me Tia.” Meanwhile Tia was playing astronaut couldn’t hear her.
Then Cate screamed again, “Earth to Tia, help Tia, help me.” Tia heard her and said, “What happened where are you,” in a panicky voice. Tia found a trail of foot prints and followed it. If she followed these prints, it would lead her to Cate. While Cate was looking she found her cousin in a net. Tia ripped it with her claws and they ran back home. The two cousins worked on the fence so no one could come in.

Moral: There is a time to work and a time to play.


The Lion and the Monkey

Lacy Lion and Mandy Monkey were best friends. They shopped at the mall, swam at the Savanna, and lived together. Lacy Lion asked Mandy Monkey one day, “Do you want to play?” Mandy Monkey said, “No thanks.” I have to get enough food and warm clothing in time for winter.
Lacy Lion really wished that she came, because it was so much fun. One day, when Lacy Lion went to the Savanna it was all froze up. She went to Mandy and asked if she could have some blankets. Mandy said, “Of course!”

Moral: There is a time to play and a time to work.
