As you know last Monday we started ALD/ELD and everyone is going to a different class every morning, but even kinder go to a different place, for teachers there is a new program that they give by grade according to the program makers this gives you the tools necessary to fully participate in all aspects of the classroom life like listening with comprehension; speaking about ideas and concepts with accuracy and confidence; reading for varied purposes with understanding.ELD teaches the language that English learners aren't likely to learn outside the school, will not be taught in other subject areas and they need to be able to use everyday effective academic learning and classroom participation.
